The two-day test in Abu Dhabi came to a close today, with Ferrari ending both days quickest and Robert Kubica completing 129 laps at a decent pace. Not that you can tell anything from the lap times, though…
At Mercedes Lewis Hamilton was in the car on Tuesday (and declared the new hypersoft as the best tyre Pirelli has made in F1), whilst Valtteri Bottas took over on Wednesday in what is (probably) the last time Mercedes’ championship-winning W08 will be driven on a circuit in anger.
So, how did Valtteri mark the occasion? By laying down a thick black number 11 in the garage, of course!
Now that’s rubber layin’ 🔥🔥🔥@ValtteriBottas, don’t laugh, you’re cleaning it up! 😂 pic.twitter.com/HF0vSjPIoh
