Recently, Daniil Kvyat looks like a guy who’s been told Santa Claus isn’t real and then had all his Christmas presents thrown in to the fire. You can kind of understand why, having been dumped into Red Bull’s B-team Toro Rosso after one bad race.
Since his demotion after the Russian Grand Prix, it’s been depressing sight watching Kvyat’s career nose dive but this weekend’s performance in Singapore gave the Russian a confidence boost and all it took was him to get a little bit of revenge on the guy who nicked his drive.

Verstappen eventually got passed Kvyat later in the race but his battle with the Dutchman and a points finish in P9 saw the Russian provide a post-race interview where he didn’t look like he was ready to punch someone in the face.

Let’s hope it’s not too little too late for the guy.
