An overly defensive move from Norman Nato kick-started a crash that took himself, Pierre Gasly, Raffaele Marciello and Arthur Pic out the race; an incident which should have just been a textbook overtake from Marciello.

Meanwhile at the front, Stoffel Vandoorne was being awesome. And despite the safety car period trying to ruin his race, he managed to emerge from his pitstop and go from 8th to 1st in just a handful of laps. Bravo.
