ICYMI, the FIA recently decided that drivers changing their helmet designs every now and then is the biggest problem with Formula One right now and as such, banned them.
Lewis Hamilton has now become the first driver to be affected by this, after he revealed this helmet design he was due to run in the Malaysian Grand Prix this weekend.
I had a special helmet made to celebrate Petronas & Malaysia. Due to the FIA’s new rule, I can’t wear it. #Petronas pic.twitter.com/w5ZUQjyYO3

The turquoise colour is of course paying homage to Malaysian oil company Petronas, who are title sponsors of Mercedes.
