The Macau street circuit features one of the tightest corners in motor racing – the Melco hairpin. It’s so tight that during races the corner has a constant yellow flag to prevent the track being blocked up by the remnants of failed overtaking manoeuvres.
Of course, for nine-time World Rally Champion and all-round driving god Sebastien Loeb, tight hairpins are all in a days work. Even though he’s swapped special stages for circuit racing those old rally habits are hard to kill off completely as he tried taking a distinctly rally approach to the corner. It’s probably not the quickest way, but it looks damn cool.
