Felipe Massa walking down the pitlane in the rain during last year’s Brazilian Grand Prix was one of most emotional moments seen in F1 for a long time, and while this year might not have been quite as emotional, it was still enough to hit you right in the feels.
Massa brilliantly held off Fernando Alonso and Sergio Perez in an epic finish to be best-of-the-rest in P7, and when he crossed the line, it was his son who greeted him on the team radio.
“Daddy, I’m so proud of you… by the way, I loved your start!” said Massa’s son Felipinho after the race. A truly special moment.
I’m not crying, you’re crying!
