Lego are releasing another kit which will appeal to motorsport fans, commemorating 50 years of Ford’s successes at Le Mans.
Lego’s ‘Speed Champions‘ series of kits features some awesome cars for motorsport fans. There’s a McLaren pit stop, Ferrari F14T and transporter truck, and an Audi R18, among many others. Next year they’re releasing yet another mega kit, this time celebrating 50 years of Ford’s success at Le Mans.
The kit will include the Ford GT40 which won the famous endurance race outright back in 1966, and the modern homage to it, the Ford GT, which won the GTE Pro class on it’s Le Mans debut in 2016.
These awesome looking cars will also come with minifigures, a chequered flag and a trophy, so once you’ve built them you can sit on the carpet and pretend you’re Chris Amon or Sebastien Bourdais.
The set will hit the shops in March 2017 and in the UK will be priced at £29.99.
