Following the Bathurst 12 Hour, which was won by a bunch of gamers from Nissan’s GT Academy, Nissan has announced that 2008 and 2011 GT Academy champions Lucas Ordonez and Jann Mardenborough will race in this year’s World Endurance Championship alongside the likes of Sebastien Buemi, Alex Wurz and Mark Webber.
The pair will both drive in the unusual looking Nissan GT-R LM Nismo, which is reported to have a whopping 1250bhp. Ordonez will drive the team’s third entry for Le Mans, whilst Mardenborough will drive for the whole season in the same car as former F1 driver, Marc Gene.
