Rallycross is one of the most frantic, dramatic and exciting motorsports in the world. It never fails to disappoint with its fast-paced action.
So, imagine our delight when we found out Rallycross is coming to Project Cars 2. Yep, you’ll be able to get behind the wheel of a Honda Civic Coupe Rallycross car, Mini Countryman RX or Ford Focus RS WRX.
There’s a real mix of FIA World Rallycross Championship and Global Rallycross Championship cars, as well as a few fictional ones from Renault and Mercedes.
Lydden Hill, Daytona, Lankebanen and Knockhill are just a few of the tracks ready to be raced on, so there sounds to be a decent amount of content to make Rallycross a fun new element.
New footage has been released of the Rallycross cars in action in PC2, alongside some snazzy screenshots too.
PC2 is taking Rallycross seriously, and has teamed up with numerous drivers, as well as the OMSE team, to create an authentic experience. Time will tell if they’ve delivered.
The racing title is hitting PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in late 2017.
