There wasn’t a huge amount of overtaking in F1 this year but when they did come, boy were they good.
Standout overtakes included Sebastian Vettel’s wheel banging with Daniel Ricciardo in China and Lewis Hamilton’s wheel-to-wheel battle with Fernando Alonso in Mexico. But it was Ricciardo out-braking three cars into turn one during the crazy Azerbaijan Grand Prix that fans voted as number one on F1’s official channels.
The epic move proved to be crucial, as Ricciardo went on to win the race in Baku which proved to be the best of the year and one of the greatest F1 races in years.
