Racing cars are often smaller than you think, but none are quite like this. This is a model made using a 3D printer – and it’s tiny. At just 285 micrometers in length, it’s roughly three times larger than the width of a single human hair. The model was made by researchers at the Vienna University of Technology in order to demonstrate new techniques which allow such models to be printed even faster.
Perfect – lets build another one so that Anthony Davidson and Felipe Massa can race each other.
