Well, that was quite an exciting Dutch GP qualifying session – especially by the 2023 F1 season’s standards! We’ve got six different teams starting in the top six, including another Max Verstappen pole position, Lando Norris in P2 (though it was close for a hot minute!), George Russell right behind, and… IS THAT ALEX ALBON?!
Williams has completely stolen the show so far this weekend after an incredible effort during Dutch GP qualifying, with both cars making Q3 for the first time since 2017.
Unfortunately, Logan Sargeant did have quite the crash at the start of Q3 and brought out a red flag, but regardless, starting 10th is a career-high, and it also marks the first time an American will be starting in the top 10 since Michael Andretti did so back in 1993. Amazing.
But Alex put himself and his Williams car in P4, matching his career-best qualifying and exciting every single F1 fan out there. We loved seeing your reactions, and here are some of our favourites.
