YouTube channel Team No Limits 865 has been working on a project to film a stop motion F1 race since May earlier this year. After building a completely custom circuit and spending six months capturing the footage the end result is this superb rendition of a fictional New England Grand Prix.
It’s an impressive video, but what really makes it are all the little details. From the mirroring of the current circuit guide and action zones and the use of the retro 90s FIA guitar riff, right down to the custom garages and safety car.
We’re also loving the slightly mixed-up grid of drivers and cars from the last 10 years or so. Most importantly, the race is also genuinely exciting – plus Pastor Maldonado is in it, which is always a good thing!
