There was just three points between championship rivals Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix and with Vettel on pole position, it looked like the championship was going to go right down to the final race.
The Singapore start crash and starting last in Sepang were bad enough but for a third race in a row, problems.

A dodgy spark-plug cost the four-time world champion big time. Causing him to come into the pits early in the race and retire.

Ferrari’s championship has well and truly imploded and coming away from Suzuka, it looks like Hamilton’s lead will be huge heading into the next round with even the possibility that he could win the title next time out.
