Ayrton Senna’s 1991 title-winning McLaren MP4/6 is up for sale but not how you may imagine it. The car was dismantled before artist Jay Burridge turned it into a gigantic Airfix Kit. Awesome!
Due to the surge of interest around Senna since the release of the movie, they have decided to sell the piece at auction. They expect to receive around £30,000.
McLaren has a strict policy of not selling old cars or parts of old cars, so this is a rare opportunity to own a piece of McLaren as well as a car that Senna won the World Championship in. It may not be the whole car but it’s the best you’re going to get!
