Verstappen was probably looking forward to pushing hard during this weekend’s Bahrain GP, but not like this. Not long after the start of Free Practice 1, his RB14 slowed down with an apparent loss of power.
He slowly rolled as far as he could, desperate to get the car back to the pits, but stopped just short of the pit lane. Still determined to make it to the pits he jumped out and pushed it the rest of the way so that his team could try and fix the problem asap – no mean feat in the desert heat!
